Hey Dreamer
Whether I’m talking about what you desire, your beliefs around what’s possible for you, prioritizing your well-being, overcoming fear, or simply trusting your journey, it’s all relevant when you’ve been unhappy at work, and you’re ready to make a meaningful change in your career.
Whether it’s working with clients, having heart-to-heart conversations with friends, or reflecting on my own journey called life, I’ve noticed the same patterns keep coming up for all of us.
We spend a lot of time, fighting our inner truth.
You might experience this when you second guess your choices, compare your lifestyle to others in the same age bracket, or simply feel like you’re too picky and should settle for this life you don’t really want because everyone around you seems to be OK with it (listen to this audio for the wakeup call you’ve been yearning for).
Dreamers, the status quo isn’t for everyone.
We keep believing there’s ONE right way to live life so we end up comparing ourselves to this fabricated reality.
We ignore our YES and override our NOs just to fit in. And then we wonder why things aren’t going the way we’d want them to.
You might have found yourself doing this in your career. You followed the career path you were told was safe. You chose the opportunities that paid well.
Meanwhile, your heart has been asking for your attention. Telling you to go for the more creative and fulfilling option. Your heart has been telling you to trust yourself, and that everything will be OK and work out for you.
But you keep trusting your logical mind instead. The one that pushes you to wake up every single Monday morning with that pit feeling in your stomach.
That’s what self-betrayal feels like.
It tells you to find a way to turn your no into a yes to please others. It tells you to justify your NO even when it doesn’t feel good in your body so you can fit in. And, it finds reasons for you so you don’t have to take action to figure out how to turn what your heart truly desires to do into a reality.
It eventually turns into burnout and illness.
And it just doesn’t feel good no matter what you do.
So, If you’re tired of living this way and you know life doesn’t last forever, and it’s not worth it for you to keep dragging your feet to a job you don’t even like.
It’s time to get on my schedule to do the work.
Your heart is waiting
Inspiring YOU to Say YES to YOU!
