I’m Priscilla Jabouin, a Holistic Career and Mental Health Counsellor.
I help creative women who feel unhappy at work discover their dream career.

In 2009, I was in what I would describe as “career hell”.

I was an elementary school teacher who would have that pit feeling in my stomach on Sunday evenings and get out of bed on Monday mornings dreading the week ahead.

It was rough.

I know what it’s like to feel like there’s something wrong with you.

Like you’ve done everything you were told to do in order to be successful, you thought if you did the work, got the job, house, promotions, car, checked all the boxes required to be seen as an accomplished professional, you’d be happy, right?

“I mean, I should be grateful, right?”

But…I wasn’t happy.

I was miserable, confused,

stressed out, and drained at the end of each day.

I FELT STUCK because I had no idea what I would do next if I decided to leave my career as a school teacher.

I know how challenging it can be to choose yourself. To make your dreams and your well-being a priority when you don’t know how you’ll pay the bills if you decide to quit your job.

But the body never lies and my unhappiness led to high levels of stress that started to affect my health.
One day, as I stood in front of a group of rowdy students, I realized I had a serious decision to make. I could either stay in this career and accept that I would be miserable until retirement, or I could drop everything and face my fears to pursue what my heart truly desired.

I couldn’t imagine myself spending an extra year standing in front of a classroom full of kids, so I took a risk. I announced to my principal that I would resign by the end of the school year, and decided to pursue my first love, Psychology.
The next year, I was back in school to pursue a Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at McGill University – I never looked back!

In 2012, after completing my graduate degree, I officially started working in the field of career counselling and career development. I was feeling OK about my life but felt something was missing.

That’s when a shift happened.

In 2014, I left my status quo life and career to pursue an extraordinary life – one I could never have imagined. Listen to the full story on THE DREAM CAREER PODCAST.

In a nutshell, I immersed myself in the yogic philosophy by living in an Ashram for a total of 15 months over a period of 3 years.

During this time, I discovered my PURPOSE and developed THE MY MAP TO HAPPINESS™ Method, a 5 part self-discovery process that’s the foundation of the DARE TO DREAM PROGRAM™ I use with my clients to help them embrace what their heart truly desires, so they can get clear about their dream career, and develop the confidence they need to make the dream a reality.

From living a life that took me from Montreal, QC, to Paradise Island, Nassau in The Bahamas, then to Geneva in Switzerland, and finally New York City …

Today, I’m passionate about helping creative women like YOU discover how to live the life they want to live, not the one they think they should be living, so they can wake up to a life and career they genuinely love!

If you feel that NOW is the time to step into a life and career you LOVE, contact me so we can chat and decide if working together would be a good fit!

My mission, to get as many people as possible waking up to a life & career they genuinely love!
