5 tips for self-confidence

self-confidence, self-esteem, uniqueness, personal growth, personal development

SAY WHAT YOU MEAN, MEAN WHAT YOU SAY

Be honest when interacting with others. People will appreciate your integrity and vulnerability. This will also make it easier for others to trust you, and open themselves up to you.

WEAR COLOURS
Guilty of always hiding behind black and grey, but secretly wishing you could wear bright, flashy colours? Let your personality shine through the clothes and accessories you choose. Wearing colours doesn’t make you quirky or unprofessional.

IT’S OK TO BE JUDGED BY OTHERS
When you embrace your uniqueness, people might stare, make comments, and criticize you. It’s OK to be the centre of attention. Don’t shy away from being yourself.

TO BE NORMAL, IS TO BE DIFFERENT
What if talking the same way, dressing in the same style, having the same mannerisms, and sharing all of the same opinions was deemed odd? That would make being different the new normal. Be OK being different, it makes you unique, and normal.

MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
Focus on your life and avoid comparing yourself to others. Eventually, you will be proud of who you are, and notice an increased confidence in your unique qualities and accomplishments.
