Do I have your attention?

So you’ve struggled to successfully reach last year’s resolutions, and you’re dead set on making sure that doesn’t happen again.

You feel it in your gut that this year will be different. You want to make sure 2018 is the year to remember; and believe me, it can be.

If you feel you’ve fallen into a routine where the years fly by, and when you pass your life in review, you realize nothing’s  really happened, nothing’s really changed, it’s still the “same ‘ol” without even flinching, then, it might be time to take action.

Taking action requires a certain amount of dedication and courage. And, it’s often taking the initial step towards change that’s the challenge. But once you’ve taken it, even if it’s miniscule, you set things in motion. You commit to the change you want to create in your life.

So for 2018, are you ready to create positive changes in your life?

Are you ready to wake up excited to get to work because you have a career with a purpose?

Do you want to have a story to tell people when they ask you “what’s new?”

Do you want to live a life where you’re pulling the strings and the decisions you make are based on what you really want and not what others expect of you?

You want to be bold and do those things you’ve always wanted to do, you’re just not sure how to get started.

So here is where I let you in on a secret:
You are responsible for your life.
You have the power to create the change you want to see in your life.

If you want to experience something different in your life, it won’t happen on its own.
You’ll have to do something about it, something different.

But the real secret is to know how to create that change.

A year ago this month, I publicly announced – “2017 will be a great year – I will smile, do things that make me happy, trust, face my fears, be bold and loving!”

I decided to take ownership of my life and I made it what I wanted it to be. It was scary, I was worried, what ifs were wildy running through my mind but I took the leap of faith anyway.

That one bold and public statement made me accountable to act differently in 2017 and it led to a very memorable year.

It’s important to realize that each year, each moment in your life is an opportunity to create change. You can leave it till tomorrow, another day, the right time, the right opportunity, financial situation or that special milestone. But, if you keep waiting for something to happen on the outside to make the decision you feel on the inside, you could be waiting for a very long time…

So, I’m going to challenge you to dedicate yourself to the change you want to see in your life for 2018. Choose a meaningful change, one that will positively rock your world, in more ways than one.

Then say it out loud.
The secret is to manifest what you want to create in your life by writing it down as a detailed statement, and then stating it loud and clear.

Tell the world what you want to experience in 2018 and then, go out and do it. Start taking actions to make your desires and dreams, your reality.
